    Community Paramedic - Full-time & Part-time

UPRHSD is always accepting applications for Community Paramedic (CP) positions. We may not always be hiring full time, but we will communicate when positions open for full time here. We’re looking for passionate clinicians who believe EMS can be more than lights and sirens and who are excited to help shape the future of mobile integrated healthcare in our community.

As a Community Paramedic, you’ll be trained and cleared to function in both the CP and 911 ambulance roles. You will complete a 911 ambulance field training then move onto a CP field training after passing as a 911 ambulance provider. You are expected to be a proficient and competent paramedic first then add on your advanced training. While you don’t need your CP endorsement to start, you must obtain it by the end of your field training process to continue employment. You’ll start at the standard paramedic pay rate until you receive your endorsement.

This position responds to a wide range of calls across four counties ranging from complex mental health situations to in-home assessments and treatments for patients who may not need or want transport to the ER.
